I don't know why I ever thought the previous copy sounded acceptable,
but for the past several months I've been disgusted by the overly-
compressed and filtered sound. I re-read the entire thing with better
mic placement and did all click removal manually instead of with
a filter.

I originally chose six thousand years because Sumer / Mesopotamia
saw some of the earliest states in 4000 BC, but I'm changing it to
twelve thousand because the Cradle page says that sedentary and
permanent villages started more like 10,000-12,000 BC, which seems
like a better reference point for the start of trade and economy.
Also because I don't want people to interpret the number six thousand
as a reference to creationism.
Just discovered this channel and first thing I see is hall of shame
material. I won't necessarily continue adding to the hall of shame
but for a public service like transit I just had to.
