Use vh instead of px for photo padding.
...
Helps ensure a consistent amount of space between photo and edges
of screen since 92vh photo + 16px padding was too big for some aspect
ratios. Now it's 92vh + 4vh which doesn't exceed the screen.

I originally chose six thousand years because Sumer / Mesopotamia
saw some of the earliest states in 4000 BC, but I'm changing it to
twelve thousand because the Cradle page says that sedentary and
permanent villages started more like 10,000-12,000 BC, which seems
like a better reference point for the start of trade and economy.
Also because I don't want people to interpret the number six thousand
as a reference to creationism.

Use PNGs for cv instead of svg. Rendering was too slow.

It pains me to do this since I like svgs, but the more complex icons
like inkscape and osm always caused rendering stutters.
